A Wedding at Wolf Oak Acres
A church ceremony in New Hartford, portraits in the shade and a barn full of celebration in Oneida. Natalia and Ansel were married on July 5, and BlackTie Brothers photographed and filmed their day. This page follows it from getting ready to a packed dance floor at Wolf Oak Acres.
The wedding · Photography
From the church to the barn.
Natalia and Ansel were married at St. John the Evangelist in New Hartford, then celebrated at Wolf Oak Acres in Oneida. The photographs below are a selection from their gallery, in the order the day unfolded.

Getting ready
Embroidered high-tops, a final fitting of the dress, a few hugs and the bridesmaids in coral before the ceremony.
The ceremony at St. John the Evangelist
The ceremony took place at St. John the Evangelist in New Hartford, not at Wolf Oak Acres. A reading, then the walk back up the aisle as a married couple.
Portraits at Wolf Oak Acres
In Oneida there was room for a large family group against the barn’s wooden walls, then a few quieter minutes for the two of them on the swing and under the trees.
The reception in the barn
Wooden stairs, hanging lights, peach roses and a table for two. The reception photographs move between the room, the people in it and the sweetheart table.
A change into red, then the dance floor
Natalia changed into red for the next part of the celebration in the barn: a flower garland exchange and the lighting of a tall brass lamp. After that, the dance floor filled up.
The photographs on this page are a selection. The full gallery shows the whole day, from getting ready through the reception.

Our planning notes
Planning photography and film at Wolf Oak Acres.
What we saw at Natalia and Ansel’s wedding, what we would suggest for yours, and what the venue says about its own setup. Each card says which one it is.
Two places, one day.
Natalia and Ansel were married in New Hartford and celebrated at Wolf Oak Acres in Oneida. A day like this needs time for the drive, parking and gathering family before portraits, so we planned photography and film around the move between them.
Plan around the outfit change.
If you are changing outfits or including several traditions, share the order with us ahead of time. Knowing what comes next lets your photographer and filmmaker be in the right place for each moment, and gives you a minute to breathe between them.
Room for guests to stay over.
The venue describes on-site accommodations for up to 80 guests and full-day venue rentals. If family is staying on the property, ask us about adding time for the morning or the next day to your coverage.
Photography + film
One plan for both.
Natalia and Ansel had photography and film from BlackTie Brothers. When you choose both, our photographers and filmmakers plan around the same timeline and the same people, so the photographs and the film tell the day together. We have artists in New York, Florida and Hawaii and cover weddings nationwide.
Space to be yourselves.
We give direction when it helps, then leave room for a glance, a laugh and the quieter moments between photographs. A short, useful portrait plan gives you more time with your guests.
Keep the voices.
We coordinate with the officiant and DJ about microphones and audio before the important moments. Good sound gives the wedding film more than a music track.
Two locations, one plan.
Photography and film work from one coverage plan, including the travel between a ceremony and a reception venue. Share both locations with us so we can recommend coverage around the day you are planning.
Wolf Oak Acres wedding questions
A few things couples ask.
Have you photographed and filmed a wedding at Wolf Oak Acres?
Yes. BlackTie Brothers photographed and filmed Natalia and Ansel’s wedding on July 5, with their reception at Wolf Oak Acres. Every photograph on this page is from their day, and their highlight film plays on this page too.
Was their ceremony at Wolf Oak Acres?
No. Their ceremony was at St. John the Evangelist in New Hartford, and the celebration followed at Wolf Oak Acres in Oneida. If your day has two locations as well, leave time for the drive, parking and gathering family before portraits.
Where are good spots for portraits at Wolf Oak Acres?
At this wedding we used a swing wrapped in greenery, the shaded lawn, the paths around the barns and the wood-paneled walls inside for a large family group. Light and weather change with the season, so we plan the portrait route with you before the day.
What if we are changing outfits or including several traditions?
Tell us what is happening and which moments you want us close for. Natalia and Ansel’s day included a change from a white dress into red, a flower garland exchange and the lighting of a brass lamp. Leave a little room in the timeline for the change, for gathering the people involved and for walking your photo and film team through the order.
Can we see the whole wedding, not just the highlights?
Absolutely. The full gallery link on this page opens Natalia and Ansel’s complete gallery, from getting ready through the reception, and their 7:17 highlight film plays above. It is the best way to see how we cover a whole day.
Can we book photography and film together?
Yes. You can book photography, film or both, with one coordinated plan. We cover weddings nationwide, with artists in New York, Florida and Hawaii. Send us your date and venue to check availability, and see current collections on our pricing page.
