We have photographed and filmed here across multiple wedding celebrations, including a Nikkah, a Walima and the ballroom day of a multi-day Pakistani Muslim wedding. Traditions at the Glen
A hillside resort in the Southern Tier, also known as Traditions Hotel & Spa, built around an early 1900s brick mansion with a hotel, a spa and an 18-hole golf course on the same grounds. We have photographed four weddings here, three of them in a single summer. The guide follows one of them from the French doors upstairs to the ceremony lawn above the valley and the reception, with our notes on light, timing and portrait locations.

Timber Banks
A golf club and wedding venue on the Seneca River north of Syracuse: a timber-framed clubhouse with two levels of covered porches, a Grand Ballroom under 22-foot beamed ceilings, a waterside ceremony gazebo and a Jack Nicklaus-designed course that runs up to the building. We have photographed and filmed two weddings here. Real wedding Vernon, New York
The Cannery
An all-inclusive venue in Vernon with a rustic chapel, outdoor ceremony spaces and an industrial reception room, run by the same owners as The Mason Jar and Dibbles Inn. We filmed Jennifer and Alex’s wedding here in September, from their church ceremony in Clinton to a reception under violet light and a closing run of recorded messages from family and friends, and made the bridal portrait shown here. The film leads the page, with six frames from it and our notes on the venue. Lower down, a second Vernon wedding we photographed the same afternoon at The Mason Jar.

A timber and fieldstone lodge with a cobblestone fireplace, a garden arbor and a string lit patio, set in nine acres of gardens halfway between Utica and Syracuse.
