The setting · Venue information
From the pines to the garden.
The Pinery Forest and Garden is an outdoor wedding venue in Howey-in-the-Hills, Central Florida. Its official venue overview describes a four-acre pine forest intertwined with a tropical garden, with distinct spaces for the ceremony, cocktails and celebration.
The forest ceremony area features wooden benches and a triangle arch. The garden brings a different backdrop for cocktail hour, while decorative lights shape the evening reception atmosphere. That variety gives a photo and video plan several settings to work with throughout the day.
We provided photography and video coverage for Alyssa Colon and Alberto Garcia’s February 19, 2026 wedding here. The photographs below are from their complete BlackTie Brothers gallery.

BlackTie Brothers planning recommendations
Build the coverage around your celebration.
These are our recommendations for planning photography and video. We’ll refine them around your date, priorities and the arrangements confirmed with The Pinery and your coordinator.
Start with both locations.
Confirm suite access and where each partner will get ready before setting our arrival times. The venue’s staff breakroom cannot be used as a groomsmen’s changing room. Share any off-site address with us so travel, final preparations and the first look fit into the same plan.
Give the forest its daylight.
Build a portrait window around your family list, wedding party and ceremony time. We’ll assess the light for your date and keep the essential forest photographs within daylight. The venue’s policies note no electricity or lighting in the ceremony area at night, so equipment and timing need to reflect that.
Leave room between moments.
Allow a little breathing room for walking, gathering family and moving cameras between the ceremony, garden and reception. If spending cocktail hour with your guests matters to you, tell us early. We can discuss a first look and which portraits to complete before the ceremony.
Make the greenhouse part of the plan.
The venue’s weather policy allows the reception to move to the greenhouse in rain. Confirm the ceremony alternative, portrait space, guest layout and decision timing with the venue. Share that plan with us so camera positions, lighting and the schedule can adapt together.
Keep the atmosphere. See the faces.
Share the dinner and dance-floor layout with us before the wedding. We’ll plan camera positions and supplemental lighting around entrances, dances and reactions, while preserving the evening atmosphere. A little coordination with the venue and DJ helps keep equipment out of guest pathways.
Make room for the words.
Tell us about private vows and planned speeches. We’ll coordinate microphones and recording options with the officiant, DJ and venue, including its garden sound system requirements. A quieter place for private vows and dedicated recording time help us capture the words as well as the reactions.
Confirm event-specific arrangements against The Pinery’s current venue policies (opens in a new tab).
Before you book
Planning your wedding at The Pinery?
Have you photographed and filmed a wedding at The Pinery?
Yes. BlackTie Brothers provided photography and video coverage for Alyssa Colon and Alberto Garcia on February 19, 2026. This page features their original photographs, complete gallery and wedding teaser.
Can we choose BlackTie Brothers for photography and video?
The Pinery’s published FAQ says its preferred vendors are recommended, but not required. Confirm the details of your venue package, then ask us about your date. We can help you choose photography, film or combined coverage around your priorities.
How much photography and video coverage should we book?
Start with the moments you want included: preparations, a first look, the ceremony, portraits, speeches and dancing. We’ll work backward from that list and any travel between locations to recommend the team and hours. Explore our collections and pricing before we talk.
What happens to the photo and video plan if it rains?
The venue identifies its greenhouse as a rain option, and its policy allows receptions to move there. Confirm the ceremony arrangement and event layout directly with The Pinery. We’ll adapt our coverage around those confirmed spaces and the weather on the day.
Do you cover weddings elsewhere in Central Florida?
Yes. BlackTie Brothers serves Central Florida as part of our work across multiple markets, including New York, Florida and Hawaii. Explore our Central Florida wedding photography and films, or tell us where you’re celebrating.
