Remlik’s Grille & Oyster Bar · Binghamton, New York
Remlik’s Wedding
Photography & Films
A downtown celebration, photographed with room for the people and moments that matter. Our experience at Remlik’s includes three weddings and an engagement session, with photography and film planning shaped around each couple.
A restaurant wedding in the city
Make the celebration
feel like you.
Remlik’s sits in downtown Binghamton’s Kilmer Building. The restaurant describes two private rooms connected to its main dining area, giving couples a reason to discuss the exact space and flow of their celebration early.
Our experience here includes weddings with different arrangements for the ceremony and reception. We start with the places you’ll actually use, then plan portraits, key moments and equipment moves around your schedule.

A winter reception at Remlik’s
Dinner, cake
and candlelight.
Mackenzie and David held their winter reception in the Remlik’s dining room, with evergreen runners, poinsettias and candlelight across the tables. These photographs show the room as it was used on the day: the wide dining room, the table details, the cake cutting and the couple among their guests. Their wedding film is featured below.
Kari & Josh · Engagement session
A familiar place.
A story of your own.
Kari and Josh chose Remlik’s for their engagement photographs. The bar and dining-room setting give this session its own character, from portraits together to the smaller moments between them.
Planning photography and film
Give each part of the day
the time it needs.
Confirm the spaces.
Our past plans include a ceremony in the back room and receptions following ceremonies elsewhere. Confirm your own layout with Remlik’s, then share where guests will sit, where you’ll enter and which moments happen in each room.
Plan a few good stops.
A past wedding plan included portraits in the bar before the restaurant opened. Access needs to be arranged for your event. Keep the portrait list focused and agree on an indoor option if outdoor plans change.
Leave room to move.
If preparation or the ceremony is off-site, allow time for travel, parking and the team’s arrival at the reception. Ask Remlik’s about the event entrance, unloading and when the room will be ready for photographs.
Wedding films at Remlik’s
Keep the voices
with the photographs.
Film adds movement, speeches and the atmosphere of the celebration. Our photographers and filmmakers work from one shared timeline, with space to capture the moments as they happen. Mackenzie and David’s wedding film, with their reception at Remlik’s, is featured below.
For a restaurant reception, we recommend agreeing on the speech location and microphone setup in advance. Share the DJ or sound provider’s details so we can plan an audio feed and backup recording where appropriate.

Remlik’s wedding questions
A few things to know.
Where is Remlik’s?
Remlik’s Grille & Oyster Bar is in the Kilmer Building in downtown Binghamton, New York. Confirm the event entrance, parking and unloading arrangements directly with the restaurant before the wedding.
Has BlackTie Brothers covered weddings at Remlik’s?
Yes. Our experience here includes three completed weddings and an engagement session. This page features photographs from all three weddings, Mackenzie and David’s wedding film, two complete wedding galleries and Kari and Josh’s engagement gallery. Complete wedding galleries can also include portions of the day at other locations.
Can you photograph and film our wedding here?
Yes. BlackTie Brothers offers wedding photography, cinematic films, or coordinated coverage with both. Share your date, ceremony location and reception schedule so we can recommend the right team and coverage.
Can we have our ceremony at Remlik’s?
We have planned coverage for a ceremony in Remlik’s back room. Ask Remlik’s which ceremony and reception arrangements are currently available for your date and guest count; one past layout does not establish current availability.
How should we plan portraits around the reception?
Choose a short portrait list and agree on an indoor option before the day. If you want portraits in the bar or other restaurant spaces, arrange access with Remlik’s first. Add travel time if preparation or the ceremony takes place elsewhere.
Who confirms the room, menu and guest capacity?
Remlik’s confirms current room options, capacity, menus, pricing, access and event policies. BlackTie Brothers plans the photography and film coverage around those confirmed arrangements.
